Experience Fall at a Tennessee State Park

As the air cools and the leaves turn vibrant shades of red, gold, and orange, there’s no better time to experience fall than at a Tennessee State Park. With various events and activities, this season is perfect for making memories and enjoying the natural beauty around you.
For those seeking adventure, join a guided Fall Colors Hike. Rangers will lead you along scenic trails, pointing out the best spots for leaf peeping and sharing the stories behind the seasonal changes. These hikes are scheduled through November, offering a unique opportunity to experience the stunning landscapes.

Helping People Enjoy Nature in All Seasons
Tennessee State Parks Conservancy is dedicated to preserving our state parks’ natural beauty and ecological health, ensuring they remain vibrant for generations to come. Through various conservation initiatives, the Conservancy helps restore habitats, protect wildlife, and support sustainable land management practices that maintain the delicate balance of our ecosystems. But our mission goes beyond conservation—the Conservancy is also focused on making our beautiful state parks more accessible for all. By funding projects such as improved trail systems, ADA-compliant facilities, and interpretive programs, we strive to remove barriers so everyone can experience the benefits of being outdoors. Through these efforts and in partnership with TN State Parks, we are helping ensure our parks are welcoming, inclusive, and resilient for all.
